Fall Festival

I spent a couple hours of this morning photographing a festival at a local school where my friend works at.

She asked me if I could volunteer some time and I said yes of course and here are some of my favorite shots.

I switched between my regular zoom lens and fixed lens to capture the action and some portraits.

These were fidgety kids so I shot wide open on my zoom lens with an iso of about 600 (it was a cloudy day after all) to get a fast shutter speed.

And when I switched to my fixed lens, I opted to shoot 2-3 stops down from my max aperture, so at about 2.2-2.8 with a very low iso (50-100) to get sharper pictures. Any larger than that then too much of the subject would've been out of focus.

They were a pretty adorable bunch
