When I got my 50mm f/1.8 lens,
I thought that was it.
It was fast
The bokeh was silky smooth
Great in low light...
And then I met the f/1.4
It was faster
The bokeh was even more silky
And it was absolutely amazing in low light.
What does one extra f stop mean?
Twice the lens opening = half the time it takes to take a picture
So next to no light is the new low light.
I am very excited for this lens, going to break it in taking baby pictures.
Next up on the list:
Get rid of my 55-200mm VR lens
And get either an 18-105mm ($250)
or 16-85mm vr lens ($500)
Decisions decisions...let's go Citibank!
Life
"I wake up every morning determined both to change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning the day a little difficult."
